| Dear Partners in Northern California! How can we thank you enough for the support you give to Common Hope? Our mission is to provide the platform from which common, ordinary people can be effective in giving their time, their financial support, and their love to people whose lives are far less comfortable! One of the great benefits of being among the Common Hope Partners is the wonderful community of like-minded people it joins you to. If you'd like to connect to others in your part of California, click here. And another benefit of being among the Partners is that at Common Hope, we yada yada yada... I serve as the Partner coordinator for Northern California, and I would love to be connected with you, if I'm not already! We're planning a pot luck supper during the winter holidays, and would love for you to join us. Information about this event. Also, coming up shortly, we're holding a special used book sale and more information about that as well. Finally, let me just say again that all of us have found Common Hope to be a way for us to help lift folks out of the grinding poverty that exists in so many parts of the world. But we've also found that the Hope generated by this project is indeed "common" because it's also given us hope in our own daily lives, hope that the world can change, that people can become generous, and that our efforts, even though they seem small, are really quite large when taken together. Remember, if there are just one or two snow flakes, they don't make much of a difference to us. But when you get a million of them together, they can stop traffic!
