What is “philosophic coaching?”
Philosophic coaching is a method of systematic reflection on major issues affecting
business in today’s fast-paced, global, and multi-cultural settings. Such major
issues as:
+ establishing more clear business ethics
+ exploring the meaning of work and life
+ having the wisdom to lead well
+ improving performance by clear thinking
+ uncovering each manager’s personal view of life & the world
+ becoming more open to bold, new ideas.

What services do we offer?

1. Personal coaching for top corporate leaders. This usually takes place as one-on-
one conversation, in the office, over lunch, or after work hours. Personal coaching
normally occurs for top managers only.

2.
Short seminars and staff retreats. There are two possible retreats or
workshops, either of which are offered for groups ranging from ten to thirty
persons.

3.
Advisory services and third-party feedback. This involves a philosophy coach
listening in at various corporate meetings, and providing feedback directly to the
leaders. Because we are disengaged from the actual business, philosophy
coaches bring fresh insight which can often determine success. All third party
feedback is confidential.

4.
Philosophy Audits or Reviews. These powerful corporate experiences lead to
unified workforce outcomes and strong performance. They allow you to get a fresh
start and examine all the philosophical questions surrounding your company.

What other services does Corporate Philosophy provide?

5. Design and Communication. One of the key elements in developing a successful
understanding of corporate philosophy is communicating it to those whom you
want to know about you. At Corporate Philosophy, we provide the writers, editors,
designers, and creative marketing folks to help you do this.

But why is philosophy – personal or corporate – so important?
Companies are not made up of balance sheets and income statements alone.
They're not merely a group of workers set side by side collectively. Companies are
formed by the successful merger of many persons, each an individual center of
initiative. What binds us together within the company is an intangible, universal
human search for purpose and meaning.

This transcends religion, politics, and even the desire for wealth and power. It is
basic, and ever present. Becoming conscious of that which is present via this
inborn human nature, creates a corporate environment in which workers
collaborate more, are more effective, and perhaps above all, where workers are
happiest.
